Venom: The Last Dance Trailer Reveals Knull

Final *Venom: The Last Dance* trailer reveals Knull, the symbiote god, alongside Venom's new forms like the Venom fish and Venom horse.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has unveiled the final trailer for *Venom: The Last Dance*, the concluding chapter in the Spider-Man spin-off trilogy.

The nearly three-minute-long trailer gives fans their first look at the live-action portrayal of Knull, the dark eldritch god responsible for creating the alien symbiotes that have infected Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock. While the teaser only offers a fleeting view of the villain, his imposing figure seated on a throne, complete with taloned fingers and long, white hair, will undoubtedly be recognized by Marvel comic enthusiasts.

In addition, Venom takes on several entertaining new forms in this movie, with a few glimpses featured in the trailer. This includes a Venom fish, as well as more footage of the menacing Venom horse that was briefly seen in the previous trailer.

"In *Venom: The Last Dance*, Tom Hardy reprises his role as Venom, one of Marvel’s most iconic and complex figures, for the final chapter of the trilogy," the official synopsis explains. "Eddie and Venom are fugitives, being hunted by both of their worlds. As the pressure mounts, the duo faces a devastating choice that will bring their journey to a close in a dramatic and unforgettable way."

Fans won’t have to wait much longer to witness the trilogy’s final installment. *Venom: The Last Dance* is set to release on October 25, 2024, which is two weeks earlier than its previously scheduled November release, though it was initially slated for an earlier debut this year.

Tom Rothman, the chairman of Sony Motion Picture Group, confirmed in May 2024 that this will be the last Venom film, unless a reboot is planned, but emphasized that it will conclude with a spectacle. "The third and final *Venom* is going to be massive," Rothman assured.

IGN gave the previous film a 7/10, commenting that *Venom: Let There Be Carnage* built upon the strengths of the first movie, embracing its own ridiculousness. Although it played it somewhat safe, it still set the stage for a thrilling conclusion to the series.
